Impacting the world with something positive and uplifting through my writing is part of my spiritual walk through life.

In my view, part of my mission in my writing is to help others reach their full potential in their own relationships with God. Life can be so much more fulfilling if you open up your heart and soul to Him. By doing this one thing, each moment in your life will become better and better. Having God as your co-pilot in life can’t be such a bad thing. Dear reader, try this out for just one month on a daily basis. What have you go to lose?

I firmly believe everyone has a calling. In communicating with the Lord in daily prayer and meditation, I believe His Voice has told me what I should do with my life. As time progressed, I was caught up in this dream of becoming an inspirational novelist. Over the years, I would not be deterred from what I believed has become my covenant with God. Now my dream has become a reality. The moral of this is that is if you deeply believe in something and find your own special niche, success can be achieved at any age.

Being a veteran myself, I started writing A RETURN TO MEADOW WOOD to honor all our veterans. Over time though, as I revised the story through subsequent drafts, it became something far beyond its initial premise. It became an emotionally cathartic project for me personally. I had opened up my mind to the good Lord’s guidance. The end result was powerful inspirational and spiritual elements entered the story to broaden its appeal to all who have read it.

As I think back on it, my role as writer has been – and is – to write something meaningful. With His help, I have tried to do just that in this book. Dear reader, I would appreciate your thoughts.
