This book is very well written. The author has written about a time period in Lincoln’s life that not many have (known about). Lincoln’s thought and feelings are noted, showing the author did exhaustive research and put a lot of thought into his writing. This book brings Lincoln alive to the reader as a man, not just his accomplishments achieved later in his life. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who like a true sense of who Lincoln was and how his early life influenced him throughout.
